Note: Colored coatings tend have a thicker consistency when melted. Most chocolate makers add Paramount Crystals to thin colored chocolate, making it easier to use

About Coatings - Although these wafers look and taste just like chocolate (white chocolate in the case of colored coatings), they are technically coatings. The FDA defines chocolate as a product containing chocolate liquer and cocoa butter which these do not contain. Years ago chocolate was hardened for coating candies by the addition of paraffin which has been banned. These coatings are a replacement for paraffin based coatings and contain only approved ingredients.

This product is shipped at your own risk - we can guarantee delivery but cannot guarantee to wafers will not be melted in transit during spells of warm weather
Coatings are not damaged by multiple re melting, so if it does arrive with heat damage (wafers melted) it is only cosmetic - it can still be broken up and used to make chocolates
It is not recommended to ship this product during times of extreme heat (June - August), however if you must have this shipped during those months, consider expedited shipping such as next day service
Consider having it shipped to a location where someone will be able to accept delivery - if the package is left at your door, the chances of damage from the elements is increased
Pick Up: Local customers desiring to pick up chocolate wafers must place the order at least 24 hours in advance - we warehouse and package it in a different location to prevent any possible contact with non chocolate products
