Mixed Tocopherol oil is a clearly oily liquid in a pale yellow to brownish red, nearly odorless. The mixed Tocopheryl is composed of d-alpha tocopherol, d-beta tocopherol, d-gamma tocopherol and d-delta tocopherol. Natural forms of all four tocopherols are available in leafy green vegetables, nuts, wholegrain foods and edible vegetable oils. Usually the natural mixed tocopherols is derived from edible vegetable oils, and its biological activity is several times higher than that of synthetic vitamin E. It has been widely used as antioxidants and nutrient in foods, cosmetics and personal care products, as well as in feed industry.
