MUARIA FOOD INDUSTRIES is originated from a home-based “Otak-Otak” maker in 2002 situated in MUAR.
A town located at north-west of Johor state, Malaysia.
“Otak-Otak” is a local delicacy which make from mixture of raw fish meat, coconut milk, pre-cooked chili paste and selected spices. It later develop to more variety with mixture of prawn, crab, Squid etc, but the bulk of it are still fish meat.
The mixture is then packed into containers and keep frozen until it is ready to be cooked.
