[Ingredients]

Rice, sugar, salt, kome-koji , reduced sugar syrup,  unrefined soy sauce, alchol, acidity regulator, contains ingredients derived from wheat, soy.  
 
[What is Kome-koji]
Koji is the good fungi cultured grain, such as Rice,  Barley , Soy, etc. With the growth of the good fungi (mainly the Aspergillus oryzae), they produce many kinds of enzymes for breaking down the protein and starch from the steamed grain medium to make more glucose and amino acid. By this mechanism, in Japan, we can make the fermented condiments and Seasonings such like Sake, Miso, Vinegar, Pickles, Soy sauce, Awamori, etc. The Koji using the medium of steamed rice is called as Kome-koji (Rice-koji) .

 Cooking Examples:

 

 

Chicken Saute

 

1. Add 2 table spoons of "Rice-koji's Umami" to 200g of thigh meat in a plastic bag, mix well and seal the bag then put it into refrigerator overnight.

2. Put oil in a heated pan, bake the marinated chiken.

 

 

 

 

 

Pickles

 

1. Cut 100g of vegetables what you desired, mix with 2 table spoons of "Rice-koji's Umami" in a plastic bag, seal the bag and keep it in refrigerator overnight.

2. Wash the pickled vegetables lightly and enjoy it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grilled Salmon

 

1. Put one slice of salmon(about 70~80g) and 1 table spoon of "Rice-koji's Umami" into a plastic bag, mix them well and seal the bag, then put into refrigerator stand overnight.

2. Add oil to a heated pan, bake the marinated salmon.

 

 

Salad

 

Just mix the "Rice-koji's Umami" with vegetables to make a delicious salad as a Dressing sauce.

 

 

 

 

Grilled Chiken

 

1. Cut the chiken into bite-size.

2. Cut the green onion with 3~4cm of width

3. Bake the chiken in a pan.

4. Add the cuted green onion and fry them together.

5. Add "Rice-koji's Umami" on them and fry further

6. Take out in a plate and enjoy it.

 

 

Also can be used for flavoring Sashimi, boiled foods or soup.
