We use only Galician mussels from Arosa (Mytilus galloprovincialis), grown in our floating platforms, to produce our house specialities.
In the waters of the Bay, the mussels attach themselves to the ropes that hang down from the floating platforms. They are patiently monitored throughout the lengthy growing process which lasts around two years, in order to guarantee a magnificent harvest of top quality mussels.
Their growth is monitored on a daily basis, thereby guaranteeing the origin of each piece from sea to can.
