The mussels stay fresh longer in the new, no-leak packs (up to six days). In addition the no-leak pack is extremely user friendly.
All the compulsory information (veterinary number, packaging code and environment label) as well as size, use by date, hints for preparation and the EAN-code are shown on the bag.
These packs are supplied in the following plastic outer packaging: 10 x 1 kg, 20 x 1 kg or 10 x 2 kg
PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
These mussels are packed in such a way that they are in a "natural environment". For this reason they open slightly (just as they do in nature). These mussels are perfectly alive and can be cooked and eaten with full confidence. If you remove the mussels from the pack and put them in cold water they will automatically close again after a while.
