This is not prejdice but a gold FACT, unless a fundamental change happened one day in the future!
Some African fraudsters are well-organized. They have reps maybe in other countries. For examples, an excellent fraudster called Presco Agrifarm Industrial Co-Operative Society Limited in Nigeria said they were a "factory", but they have a forwarding/shiping company website and they issue B/L themselves and they have a fraudster rep in the Middle East!
