Scientific name: Thunnus Albacares
In the Maldives (where net fishing is illegal), the pole and line fishery is the traditional method of Tuna fishing, throughout the year; our boats return the same day or after 4 days maximum.
The minimum size of the yellow fin tuna Fish is 20 Kg; the average size is 40 Kg in Maldives .
Treatment
Fishing:- Tuna caught between 6 and 8 days.Manipulation of the products confirmed to the law and EU rules.Caught in the authorized fishing ground. Respect of the sizes and seasons.

Shelf life product:- The shelf life product as accorded to analysis and bacterial test. This is one of the key points to assure quality on our product.The lions that will have approximate shelf life of 14 days.Analysis and bacterial test will be providing on each shipment.
Chemicals criteria’s: Histamine rate = 100ppm.No CO treated.
