The Classic Olive for an authentic Greek salad! Almond shaped with
a sharp point, like a comma, this olive grows exclusively in Greece
(all others are cheap imitations) and the main producing area is the
Peloponnese peninsula. Kalamata Olives can be seen in a lustrous eggplant
color, or in dark black, or even in brown, depending on the growing region.
Picked ripe and steeped in red wine vinegar brine, they are rich and firm, with a smokey, wine infused snap. Unmistakably the best olive in the World!
