The growers from the 23 villages that make up the "21 De Septiembre Cooperative" grow heirloom Coffee on small plots of land in what many consider to be the best coffee land in Oaxaca, Mexico, the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range. Grown at altitudes ranging from 1,200-1,800 meters, the cup quality of this coffee is sweet, fruity and deliciously Citrus with notes of semi-sweet chocolate and ripe cherries. Robber Parker enjoys its "".
As far as I'm concerned, this is the coffee that started it all. It was on the trip to visit these farmers that the OCC was born. This coffee is named to honor the women who made that trip so memorable, and so delicious. This is my sentimental favorite coffee.
The OCC has Allegro Coffee to thank for hooking us up with this coffee. Supplies have gotten very limited so order now of you'll have to wait until next year.
