Jordan is one of the homelands of cultivated olives. Olive tree is the most important Fruit tree grown in Jordan. It covers about one million and 276 thousand acres, which is about 72% of the total area planted with fruit trees and 34% of the total cultivated area . The number of olive trees   at present is estimated at around 17 millio n. At one of its farms, "Al-Khairat Farms" have more than 50 thousand organic olive trees, and it uses the most modern olive oil milling machines. It produces tens of tons of olive oil that contains less acid.

"Al-Khairat Farms” use Sinolea method for olive oil production, in addition to other methods used to produce extra virgin oil.
