An award winning organic Brie that originates from a small organic dairy in the beautiful Cotswold countryside near Upper Slaughter. All the cows are Friesian and feed on grass and forage grown exclusively and organically on the farm. They are very proud of their cows who produce milk solely for cheese. Every morning the milk travels the 5 metres from the parlour to the creamery where it is turned into a great tasting cheese. They don?t mess with their milk by standardizing it, this means you get variations in taste and texture, depending on which meadow the cows graze and the time of year. The result in a superb organic Cotswold Brie with a creamy, fresh and clean taste, smoked slowly and gently.
