Paratexin DPM is a blend of diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben and propylparaben in propylene glycol giving the advantages of broad-spectrum anti-microbial protection and ease of liquid handling.
Paratexin DPM is effective at 0.3 1.0% in many formulation types, and is compatible with Proteins and anionic, cationic and non-ionic emulsifiers.
It is an ideal Preservative in both rinse-off and leave-on products and is particularly suitable for emulsions with a low (<25%) oil phase. Paratexin DPM retains its activity over the range pH 3.0 7.0.
