Made from the flesh of ripe fresh passion fruit grown in Ecuador on 30% green banana as carrier.

ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION:
The colour of the passion fruit flakes is yellow. It has the odour and flavour of mashed cooked passion fruit.

PROCESSING:
Produced by ripening, blanching, extracting, pulping, dosing the green banana as carrier and sieving the mixture, then drum drying it.

INGREDIENTS:
Passion Fruit 80 % and green banana starch 20 %.

APPLICATIONS:
Confoco® Passion Fruit Flakes are ideal for dry fruit preparations, powdered drinks, cake mixes, etc. The flakes reconstituted 1:6 with water are used in the same traditional uses as cooked Passion Fruit. Suitable for vegetable preparations, baby foods, cake, soups, drinks and soft food diets, etc.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE:
Eighteen months, when stored at the recommended temperature 15 - 27°C / 59 - 80°F in sealed original packaging.
