It is still made in the old tradition way with bran durum wheat in "Pastificio Santa Rita" in Ne, Genoa, Italy.
Before serving you can add butter or pesto sauce and parmigiano cheese, or serve it at portofinos method, half pesto sauce and half tomato sauce with parmigiano cheese.
We can offer also a really special type of pasta of our riviera made in the same pastificio, "Trofie ai funghi" (bran durum wheat and 3% minimum of mushroom porcini, boletus edulis) , and "Trofie di castagne" (bran durum wheat and 30% minimum of flour of local chestnut) really good for your prestigious dinners.
You can serve with butter or pesto sauce or walnut sauce always with parmigiano cheese.
