Camu Camu or Myrciaria Dubia is a fruit that grows in the Amazon of Peru, mainly in areas with high humidity, the fruit is spherical with 3 cm in diameter and weighing approximately 20 grams. Camu camu has a pleasant acid taste like lemon.
The main attraction of the Camu Camu is a high content of ascorbic acid, commonly known as vitamin "C", the fruit has more vitamin C than any other fruit on the planet, its content ranges between 1.800 and 2780 mg. per 100 grams of pulp of Camu Camu.
