The Tannat wine has a bright Garnet hue graduating to an excellent depth of brick red colour.
We planted this famous French variety in the
late nineties, the 2010 Tannat is only our
second release under our premium White
Label range.
Matured for two years using seasoned French
and American oak, this tightly structuRED WINE
displays a bouquet of sage, Dutch liquorice, sun
dried figs complemented by hints of lavender
and spice.
The robust palate exhibits quince, blue damson
plum and galangal, coupled with cedary cigar box
characters, enhanced by traces of cardamon
and rosemary.
Before consumption, this powerful wine will
require lengthy use of an aerator.
