Made from the flesh of Green Plantain grown in Ecuador the year round.

ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION:
The colour of plantain powder is cream. It has a smooth uniform appearance and a fine feel. The flavour is neutral.

PROCESSING:
Produced by peeling green plantain, pulping, dried in drums, without any carriers or additives, and milling.

INGREDIENTS:
Plantains only. Neither carriers nor additives used.

APPLICATIONS:
Confoco® Plantain Powder is suitable as a gluten free flour to replace Wheat Flour for those with gluten allergies. It may be used as a neutral flavour carrier and as a Thickener in liquid formulations and dry mixes.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE:
Eighteen months, when stored at the recommended temperature (15-27°C /59-80°F) in the sealed original packaging.
