Plum Baby  is a United Kingdom company producing organic food for babies, based in Taplow.

Founded in 2004 by Susie Willis, a former chef at The Savoy Hotel, ^{[ citation needed ]}  the brand produces organic baby and toddler food. Products are sold in all the major UK supermarkers including Ocado. Plum is positioned at the premium end of the baby food market and has a 4% share of the baby food sector in the UK, worth £11m. Plum Baby is a member of Organic Farmers and Growers.

History

The Taplow based Plum Baby was founded in 2004 by Susie Willis. The company has won a variety of awards including GOLD in Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Best Baby & Toddler Snack 2011/2012, BRONZE in Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Best Baby Food Range 2011/2012. Two Golds and two bronzes by Bizziebaby for Best Baby Food, and Best Baby Food by Junior Design Awards 2012.

Plum Baby has also been shortlisted for Best Baby Food Range in the 2011 Mother & Baby Awards.

Plum Baby currently has 38 products ranges including Stage 1 – 3 baby and toddler food, snack ranges and others. All Plum Baby products are 100% organic and contain the ''supergrain''quinoa.

The wet food is sold in resalable pouches, which contain aluminium, sandwiched between two layers of plastic which eliminates the need for Preservatives and means that the food can be minimally processed. The aluminium never comes in direct contact with the food to ensure it’s safe for consumption.

Plum Baby products contain no added sugar, salt or water. No additives, E numbers or GM products.
