Late bottled Vintage is almost as expensive to produce as classic Vintage Port but is generally made in non classic Douro vintage years. The wine is bottled "late" i.e. after four years in oak casks.
1994 was a very good quality year in the Douro. Full bodied and luscious, with a fine aromatic nose this Port - which unfortunately is sold out.
