Once considered a cheap peasant beverage, Genmaicha has recently come into vogue among Japanese urban elite and in the United States as a health drink.

Brewing:

 

1. Use Mineral Water or purified water.
2. If use tap water, please boil water for 4~5 minutes.
3. Use a teapot or teacup with a strainer to brew the tea, the strainer can filter tea leaves, let the tea taste better.
4. Place about 3 grams in your teapot or teacup.
5. Pour 212 degrees F or 100 degrees C water about 130ml for 30 seconds.
