A new japonica variety, round grain rice, new variety for sushi rice, developed by Taiwan Agricultural Research Centers.
The premium WHITE RICE was selected from the cross-combination between our local new variety and Japanese variety " Kinuhikari ", the experimental results showed that this variety is characterized as excellent quality. The variety was finally named in the first crop of 2004. The variety is on good grain appearance and eating quality. The eating quality is even superior to Japanese variety " Koshihikari "
The quality of rice (1) free 8 items of heavy metal on water & soil and (2) free 196 items of multi-residual pesticide on rice by SGS inspection.
