Potassium Sorbate
It is one of the best preservative used as food additive in food industry.
It is regarded commonly as a non toxic,high effective preservative.
It is synthesized by sorbic acid and potassium carbonate through the processes of reaction,decoloring and drying.
The preservative effciency of sorbic acid(potassium sorbate) is 5-10 times sodium benzote.
