Our salt is an inland salt and not a rock salt or sea salt, it is formed on what is called a Dwyka Strata or simply put a rock formation underground and close to the surface, hence the inland underground formation.These crystal form on the Dywka Stratum and are dissolved by underground streams that pass over and around the rock formation dissolving the sodium chloride which runs into an underground brine lake where we pump out the brine onto pans for drying by the sun.This is where our slat is very unique, hence the reason for the high purity and lack of impurities (99.1% pure), whereas rock salt is mined with dynamite which leaves traces of nitrates and sea salt from the sea can be polluted as most of the oceans are today, our salt is from a pollution free and non- industrial area, there are absolutely no additives to our product, as we would say, (The way nature intended it to be) 100% all natural.
