An Argo-Industrial company in Cameroon, the Ginger and Garlic Production Company Ltd Company was formed in 1989 for the purpose of developing and running plantations of tropical crops in the country. With its head office in Limbe, (Ginger and Garlic Production Company Ltd)ltd focuses on plantation production and processing of various crops. The company has been granted 98,000 hectares of land by the government out of which it uses 43,413 hectares for the production of major cash crops.

The major products of Ginger and Garlic Production Company Ltd Company are Fresh Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Spices. Green Mung Beans, Kidney Beans banana and secondary crops. From the plantations these crops are sent to the factories where they are processed and made ready for commercial use. Thus the operations of Ginger and Garlic Production Company Ltd Corporation comprise production, processing and marketing of rubber, palm oil and banana.

Ginger Garlic, Onion, Pepper, Spices, mung beans and banana are exported by the company while kidney bean. fruits is produced for domestic consumption. The factories Ginger and Garlic Production Company Ltd include Ginger factories, banana processing and garlic. The major segments of the company are provided with various services like human resource, technical, medical, supplies department, marketing and sales etc.
