Kerry Hoffman spent a day sharing soup and sandwiches with people living on the street. This relaxed social gathering, and the regular monthly events that followed for the next five years, proved so transformative that it led to the establishment of Souper Troopers. Thisregistered NPO (188-609) and PBO (930063119)aims to restore dignity to the city’s most marginalised residents – those who live on the streets. Souper Troopers help individuals who are homeless take steps necessary to make sustainable changes in their lives.
