Description:
Quercetin is a plant polyphenol from the flavonoid group, found in many fruits, vegetables, leaves, and grains. It can be used as an ingredient in supplements, beverages, or foods.
Quercetin is pentahydroxyflavone achieved from rutin which is hydrolyzed by dilute sulphuric acid. This product has functions of eliminating phlegm, relieving cough and a certain degree of relieving asthma. Meanwhile, it can reduce blood pressure, strengthen capillaries, decrease capillary fragility, reduce blood lipid, dilate coronary artery, increase blood flow of coronary artery etc. It is used for the treatment of chronic bronchitis, and the adjuvant therapy of coronary heart disease and hypertension.
