Radish is used mostly as salads, and are eaten directly for the taste. Radishes quickly and grow almost anywhere, and in many different climates. They are usually eaten raw, although they can be cooked and used in stir-fries or added to soup. Radishes originated in China thousands of years ago, and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. In fact in Asia, the Japanese Daikon radishes can grow up to one yard in length, and up to a foot around.
