RIOJA WINE EDICIÓN LIMITADA

Vintage: 2004 / 2005.

Alcohol: 14 % Vol.

Total acidity: 6.7 g/l tartaric.

Harvest date: 2nd week October.

Varieties: 70% Tempranillo, 20% experimental variety and 10% Graciano.

Vineyards: Selection of an exclusive and privileged parcel of vineyards in the Valle de Ocón. Traditional type of soil in the Rioja Alta and Alavesa. It is a loam soil belonging to the Quaternary geological era, with around 13.5% chalk and chalky-loam outcrops on which it sits.

Oak ageing: 18 months in new French oak barrels.

TASTING FEATURES:

Colour: It presents a well-covered red cherry colour.

Aroma: Intense aromas of ripe fruits stand our, very well assembled with the creamy and toasty tones provided by the oak ageing. Also, it has balsamic and spicy nuances.

Palate: Potent and fleshy in mouth, with velvety tannins and jam my notes. Long and persistent.

Food pairing: This wine goes well with red meats, mainly roasts and stews. It is a great match with fatty fish like Salmon and turbot. Perfect with Iberian cold meats and dry cheeses.

Serving temperature: 16/18ºC.
