Produced through a de-hydration of fresh skimmed milk. Variations of heat stability, protein levels, and spore levels are available to meet customer needs. A off white powder, with a typical protein content of 34% MSNF.

VARIETIES

Skimmed milk powder can be supplied under differing heat classifications as required, Low Heat with a W.P.N. > 6.0 mg/g, Medium Heat with a W.P.N. 1.51 - 5.99 mg/g, and High Heat with a W.P.N. < 1.5 mg/g.

INGREDIENTS

Fresh skimmed milk and vitamins if fortified. If instant properties required

lecithin is added.

SUGGESTED USES

Mainly used in reconstitution for drinking, or recombined for dairy products. Also used in industrial applications as a replacer for skimmed milk, such as infant formula, bakery, ice-cream, ready meals and confectionary.

SHELF LIFE

Approximately 18 months from date of production when stored under appropriate conditions.
