Sodium Alginate
Sodium alginate can be also called seaweed gel and its product is light yellow or russet inconstant powder. As typical hydrophilic sol, it is widely used in food, printing and dyeing, medicine, paper making as well as other industries.
Mainly applying to textile, printing and dyeing industries and being used in cooling drinks, cake product, candy and refrigeration fresh of food industry largely as thickening agent, stabilizing agent and emulsifying agent, it also has wide application to medicine, paper making, casting and cosmetics.
As active dye colour paste used for dye printing, sodium alginate owns high survival rate and excels other pastes. As itself doesn't react with other dye and printing dye is very easy to adhere to dye cloth with strong permeability. Color paste is easy to dry and desize so that the printed design and color are very bright with clear figure, making dyed textile soft and elastic. Owing to its advantages, sodium alginate is widely used in active dye printing of cotton, natural silk, wool, nylon and other kinds of textiles.
