General description and applications

SODIUM ERYTHORBATE: a white, oderless,crystalline powder or granule, is Sodium salt of isoascorbic acid (a stereoisomer of vitamin C) widely used as a food anti-oxidant and oxygen scavenger. Sodium Erythorbate inhibits the change of flavor and color in food when exposed to air. It is used as a reducing agent in industrial sectors like as a developing agent in photographic applications.They are used in meat processing, fruits, vegetable, tin and jam preservation.Also they are used in drinks, such as beer, grape wine, soft drink, fruit tea and fruit juice.

 

Storage and transportion  

It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse and avoid sundry odors pollution. Sunlight and rain should be prevented during transportation. Prevent contamination of this Food Additive product
