Applications:
Sodium saccharin is 450–500 times sweeter than cane sugar (sucrose). As a kind of sweet taste agent it is widly used in foods instead of sugar, such as soft drinks, tabletop sweeteners, baked goods, jams, chewing gum, canned fruit, candy, dessert toppings and salad dressings. Saccharin also is used in cosmetic products and pharmaceuticals.
