Our solar salt is harvested by sun and wind at Sinangun, Jeollanamdo, South Korea. This is the reason why it is called solar salt. Unlike refined industrial salts, our sola salt does not undergo any form of washing or chemical treatment, and nothing is added.

1) Environmental advantage: the place located the salt pond where our solar salts are produced has mud flat and there are clean air and abundant sunshine. The name solar salt being used for the product is that our solar salt is harvested by sun.

2) Mineral content : It contains most mineral contents. The fact that our solar salt is produced at mud flat means that it contains more mineral elements than other solar/sea salt cultivated at salt pond without mud flat. Especially Korean mud flat is very useful with abundant mineral ingredients such as magnesium, potassium, etc. Those mineral elements are 3 times more composed in our solar salt than well known salt as most mineral composition. It is one of five worldly renowned mud flats.

3) Various usages:  our Solar Salt can be used for various purposes such as massage, cooking, table use, mixture salt (ginseng salt, etc), and medical usage. Although salt is required necessarily for human life, taking excessive amount of salt harms people so that it brings adult diseases such as high blood pressure. By test conducted using mice to prove how differently affects Korean solar salt and purified salt to blood pressure, it appeared that Korean solar salt less influence to blood pressure.

4) Price compatibility: much cheaper than other best quality sea salts, while the ingredients are better useful.

5) Production capacity: Korean solar salt is produced 300,000 t yearly. Plus it is even much cheaper with quality, so our solar salt in many aspects has compatibility in the world to be known.  Overall salt production is 210,000,000 t and rock salt is occupied 61% out of entire salt production. Out of rest percentage, 37% salt are produced ones in Mexico, Australia, etc in large amount. Those are with NaCl 98-99% with few mineral elements, not much different from purified salts.  Solar Salt containing abundant mineral elements are only 2% produced among overall.
