| The West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand is the source of South Zealand Colostrum. Set within the rich pastural lands of this glacier region, our free range cows produce premium colostrum containing high levels of protein, calcium, Vitamins and minerals. South Zealand Colostrum, with probiotic abc cultures, is especially formulated for young children from 1 year of age. It provides bioactive immunoglobulins such as growth factors, lactoferrin (iron binding protein), and essential amino acids. Enzymes with anti-microbial properties such as lysozyme and lactoperoxidase are also naturally present in Colostrum. Colostrum is a highly nutritious whole food whose components include immunoglobulins, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and growth factors. The dietary guideline from Australian National Health and Medical Research Council and New Zealand Ministry of Health, both suggest children above the age of 1 year move from breast milk or/and formula based diet to normal diet. They also encourage young children to eat a variety of foods including normal whole milk. South Zealand colostrum contains all the goodness of normal whole milk plus extra immune and growth factors which are instrumental in supporting and strengthening the immune system for healthy growth.
