Most recently, a Silver Finalist at NASFT in New York for Outstanding Cooking Sauce, this is the classic, original sauce concocted by a Jewish boy and a Chinese girl in a small Northern California community. Used to marinate meat and chicken on skewers and sold at county fairs, word quickly spread about this delicious, kosher hoi sin based, garlic-laced marinade.
