It comes from the Iberian pig's back legs, which is raised in the “dehesa” pasturelands of the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena. These pigs are raised independently and fed with acorns, mushrooms, olives, and natural compound fooders of Cereals or corn. The ham is elaborated in a traditional way. The curing process in our cellars and “secaderos” (natural drying areas) follows the traditional rules that were implemented many years ago: combining cool and dry air coming from the locality of Corteconcepción (mountain area of Huelva) with the humidity brought from the rain and the summer moderate heat. Good quality-price ratio, ideal to be consumed in a short period of time, especially on a toast. Ideal for exquite palates looking for a cheaper product.
