ELABORATION: malolactic fermentation in barrels and battonage sur lies for 3 months. Ageing for 18 months in French new barrels, and more than 12 months in bottle before going out to the market.
AGEING: 18 months in french oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES: This wine presents a medium layer with brilliant hues. It’s a complex wine, due to its diversity of aromas, spicy with a wide minerality, certain balsamic notes and a mature black fruit that gives the wine an elegant touch on the nose. On the mouth is a powerful wine, wide structure but at the same time very well balanced.
Wine pairings: It goes well with intense cheeses, red meat, game and stew dishes
A wine to drink now or to lay down for 7-8 years.
