A) ARDESY location
The ARDESY natural mineral water source is located in France, in the Auvergne region, 500 km south of Paris, in a rural, pollution free and low mountainous volcanic area .
The onsite bottling factory, known under Company name “Société des Eaux du CézallieR”, is located in-between pastures and crop fields.
B) Geographical origin of ARDESY natural mineral water
ARDESY is a natural mineral water , naturallysparkling , rich in mineral salts.
Sourced 80 meters under the volcanic grounds of Auvergne, France, it is uncontaminated by human intervention.
Its underground route of 30 years, through the crystalline and metamorphic rocks of the Cézallier volcanic plateau brings the high content of minerals and natural carbon dioxide .
The pure water is naturally filtered and enriched with minerals, and emerges out at a constant temperature of 20 degrees.
Bottled on site, ARDESY water does not come into contact with the outdoor air until the bottle is opened.
C) Historical origins of ARDESY natural mineral water
The discovery of the natural mineral water goes back 2000 years ago, to the Gallo-Roman times. Various historical objects and coins were found near the source.
In the 19 th century, the water was recommended by doctors as "pleasant, digestive, tonic and restorative”.
In 1884, the mineral water has been recognised and authorised by the French Academy of Medicine and started to be marketed under the name of “Chabetout”.
In 1994, the present bottling factory was built 1.7 km from the source.
In 1995, the French Ministry of Health authorised its process as a natural mineral water.
From 1995 to 2011 the sparkling natural mineral water was marketed under the brand-name “ARVIE”.
In 2012, the company changed management, and the sparkling natural mineral water which source is located in the municipality of ARDES became the ARDESY water.
Today it is 130 years that the French Academy of Medicine has recognised the source as a source of natural mineral water.
D) Characteristics of ARDESY natural mineral water
Natural mineral waters are characterised by their original purity, their precise physicochemical-mineral composition, consistent over time, and their unique identity. They have properties recognized as positive to human health.ARDESY’s exploitation is subject to French authorities’ authorization and is controlled by the French Ministry of Health.

E) Why drink ARDESY?
a) Water, an essential element
Water contributes to the maintenance of normal physical and cognitive functions and contributes to the maintenance of normal regulation of the body’s temperature.
Minerals are necessary for the proper functioning of the human body.
Drinking ARDESY natural mineral water, rich in mineral salts , is a good way to bring the needed minerals required by our body.
b) Nutritional allegations: French law on natural mineral waters
According to the French law on natural mineral waters, ARDESY is a natural mineral water rich in mineral salts, and contains calcium, magnesium, chlorine, sodium and bicarbonates.
In addition, ARDESY is naturally and finely sparkling , with no adjunction of extra CO2.
c) ARDESY for a daily consumption
ARDESY water can be drunk through-out the day and suits all meals.
Its mineral composition gives its unique taste. ARDESY can be drunken ice cold as in France, or at room temperature according to taste.
d) A bicarbonated water to partner digestion
Bicarbonates allow to naturally help against acidities and have digestive properties.
A water is known as bicarbonated when its content in bicarbonates exceeds 600 mg/L.
ARDESY = 2195 mg/L
è Being naturally bicarbonated, ARDESY partners better digestion .
e) A sodic and bicarbonated water, rich in mineral salts, to accompany sports activities
A water is known as being rich in mineral salts when the dry residue exceeds 1500 mg/L.
ARDESY = 2520 mg/l
Thus, during exercise, ARDESY will replenish the needed fluids. After exercise, ARDESY’s natural sodium, bicarbonates and minerals will re-charge your body with the minerals and sodium lost through perspiration .
f) Calcium, magnesium and chlorides
ARDESY contains calcium, magnesium and chlorides: drinking ARDESY will contribute to those intakes.
Adults diet are too often low in calcium, although calcium is a fundamental mineral for the body and plays a determining part.
è ARDESY will contribute to bring to the body the necessary calcium.
The human body does not produce the magnesium which it needs. A magnesic deficit can involve psychic and emotional imbalances (anxiety, tiredness), and disorders in the muscular contraction.
è ARDESY will contribute to bring to the body the needed magnesium .
Chlorides take part in the good distribution of the water in the body and contribute to the maintenance of the pH of the body.
è ARDESY will contribute to bring to the body the required chlorides .
F) The bottling process
The pure water of the French CEZALLIER volcanic plateau is bottled on site. ARDESY water is sourced 80 m below ground level, and piped to the bottling factory through a food-compliant stainless steel underground pipe.
In the factory, the water is de-carbonated, filtered and strictly controlled before being re-carbonated and bottled. The carbonisation is entirely from its natural origin. No extra carbon dioxide is added.
The water is bottled in food-compliant PET bottles blown on site. Once sealed under a controlled atmosphere, the bottles are labelled and marked in order to ensure traceability, and packed for transportation.
Throughout the process, the purity of ARDESY mineral water is strictly controlled micro biologically and physico-chemically on a daily basis in order to guarantee its original quality. In addition, ARDESY water is sanitarily controlled by an official French laboratory.
è From source to customer, the ARDESY water does not come in contact with the outdoor up to the time of opening for consumption.
