Spelt is a cereal steeped in history and with
important nutritional ingredients. Older than wheat,
it was much appreciated by the Umbrian and
Picene peoples. Alce Nero 100% spelt flour is obtained exclusively from spelt Trcum coccum grown
Tuscany, the Marche, Lombardy and Piedmont.
Drying at low temperatures keeps the precious nutritional properties unchanged and bronze drawing to shape
the pasta gives it a rough surface,ideal for
sauces to cling to. Available in white and
wholemeal versions in the following
shapes: spaghetti, penne rigate,
fusilli, tubetti rigati.
