We receive this fresh product with its green leaves at our factory after its picking.
Afterwards, it is submitted to a very careful sorting operation in order to remove any strange herb or leaves.
Then, the cutting is carried out according to defined length without chopping in order to preserve the natural taste and nutritive characteristics of this product.
After the cutting, another sorting is carried out in order to remove the seeds residues as well as the yellow leaves.
Recipes
MAKES 5 SERVINGS / Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add in a diced onion and saut¨| until lightly brown. Stir in 1/4 kilo of minced meat, saut¨| until browned. Add salt, tomato paste and the frozen Givrex Spinach to be cooked all together. Heat a tablespoon of butter in a separate small frying pan; add 5-6 mashed cloves of garlic and a tablespoon of fresh chopped coriander leaves (Cilantro). Stir immediately into the spinach. Serve with rice aside. Other recipe: Creamed Spinach / Cook frozen spinach in salted water; drain it and pass it through a sieve, stir in two large tablespoons of cream and milk as desired. Season to taste with salt. Add in a tablespoon of raw butter and serve it hot.
