Ata Raki is a blend of concentrated anise flavor and distinguishable grape flavor giving a dense mouth feel, and is considered as hard liquor. Ata Raki, made from specially treated Aniseed and grapes, gives off a pleasant aroma of anise and grape when it is initially served. When mixed with water it takes a milky-white color and leaves a very light grey slippery layer on the sides of the glass.
