Fresh, clean, ripe and sound strawberry fruits which are transferred to the Strawberry Puree Concentrate production facility are first subjected to pre-washing and sorting stages and the selected strawberries are then subjected to the milling process where the intermediate product called the Strawberry Mash is obtained. After that, the strawberry mash is heated up to a certain temperature and goes under the fining process in order to obtain the final product called the Strawberry Puree. A further evaporation (concentration) process is perfomed in order to produce the Strawberry Puree Concentrate if a higher concentration is required.
Strawberry Puree Concentrate is then packed, through aseptic filling or cold filling, into PE bags in metal or plastic drums, in bins or into food tankers with specific volumes as per customer requirements and then the packed strawberry puree concentrate is transferred to the storage area.
