Sunflower oil is a product of plant origin, derived from sunflower seeds.
Sunflower oil has a specific pleasant smell and taste. Depending on the degree of purification, all sold oil is divided into unrefined and refined (processed).
Unrefined oil is only filtered to eliminate mechanical impurities, while all biologically valuable components are preserved. This is the most useful type of sunflower oil with a characteristic tart odor and dark, rich color. Refined (refined) oil is subjected to hydration and neutralization, deodorization, bleaching and freezing.
Refined sunflower oil is ideal for cooking fried and stews, used in the preparation of sauces, mayonnaise, suitable for baking, because it does not give a bitter taste and strong smell. But fresh salads are better to fill with "real", unrefined oil, which retains all valuable biological substances and natural vitamins. In addition, in addition to its benefits, unrefined oil gives many salads an original bright taste.
