Our MUSTARD of Chianti Classico, or "Mostardaccia", is made according to an ancient recipe from 1300, when the recipe of "Mustum ardens" (the "burning must") was first published. It is obtained after slowly cooking apples and Pears in Vin Santo and black grapes must, with the final addition of candied fruits and powder mustard. Excellent with boiled and roast meats.
