The sweeteners that PureCircle extracts from Stevia have zero calories and can be used as a sugar substitute in all manner of products which currently contain sugar, high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners. Beneficial to diabetics and those wishing to reduce sugar intake for health reasons, their primary use is as a sweetener to enhance the palatability of food and drinks. Unlike artificial sweeteners, they are heat stable to 200??C, acid stable and do not ferment.
