The first grade Taiwan Shan Ling Xi milk Oolong high mountain tea.
Hand-picked premium tea.

Hand-picked Shan Ling Xi High Mountain Jin Xuan Oolong, a special and exclusive species from Taiwan.

Shan Ling Xi is one of the most famous tea producing regions in Taiwan. The climate is temperate with plenty of rainfall and cool temperatures. The area is covered in an almost perpetual fog with short periods of sunshine, allowing tea tree to slowly grow tender and FLAVORful leaves.

Jin Xuan has a smooth taste profile, which makes it the Taiwan signature tea. A light roasting gives Jin Xuan a subtle, clean, soft milk fragrance.
Once brewed, the tea has a fresh aroma, a fresh flavor, and a smooth aftertaste with sweet undertones that lingers like a lovely memory. The “milky aroma” that rarely presents in other varieties of tea becomes the most distinctive feature of Jinxuan Tea.

Because of this unique aroma, Jin Xuan spreads its popularization to tea lovers rapidly. Compared to other varieties of tea, Jinxuan tea has a sweeter and less astringent taste. It is therefore widely welcomed by ladies and younger generations.  We highly recommend Jinxuan Tea as a must for our customers.

Something you should know about Taiwan Tea

Farm Altitude

Best Taiwan tea grows in high mountains for the unique climate pattern and unpolluted fertile land. The coldness and mists in high elevation area cause the tea leaves to grow slowly and develop their smooth, rich flavors. In general, the higher the tea farm, the better the quality. Here we sell nothing but the best high mountain tea from central Taiwan.

The Degree of Oxidation

The taste of Taiwan tea ranges hugely due to the degree of oxidation and the production style.  It can be green and fresh with bouquet aromas, or woody and thick with roasted aromas. Here we sell low degree oxidation tea to enjoy the pure, fresh, and original flavor of our premium tea.

The Beauty of Hand-Picked Tea

Tea-leaves are harvested mainly as buds and young leaves. The intactness of the leaf surface is critical to the quality of the final product, so close attention must be paid to not damage the leaves when harvesting. Since it takes a lot of experience and time to accomplish the task, hand picking is always the exclusive way to harvest premium leaves.

How to make a good pot of Taiwan Tea?

  1. Put 8 grams of tea into 200 ml of 205 °F hot water (about two teaspoons of tea per cup)
  2. A steeping time of  90-120 seconds is recommended with more or less time depending on the desired concentration. Tea leaves should well extend for full flavor.
  3. Pour out the tea into another container (otherwise the tea will become bitter)
  4. Enjoy your tea! (It can be rebrewed for several times.)

Please adjust the amount of tea leaf and steeping time according to your preference.
