Tom Khlong   , Thai-style hot and sour soup where the sourness, however, does not derive from lime juice but through the use of tamarind. Tom Klong is similar to Tom Yum flavor, hot and sour soup, but the herbs are roasted first which gives the soup a mild smokey flavor.  This soup is made with a fragrant blend of herbs, tart tamarind juice, and spicy dried chillis.  This combination of ingredients produces a nice, round taste that’s sour and spicy all at the same time.  It’s a great way to wake up your senses!
