Turnip is the common most vegetable in the NWFP.
This root vegetable has been found all over Europe and Asia for centuries. A turnip looks larger than a radish and is a well known food source for both the root and greens. Turnips come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.
Turnip greens are very high in calcium. Turnip roots are also high in calcium, but the greens provide more calcium. In fact, turnip greens contain more calcium than almost all other vegetables and also milk.
