Granadilla is a climbing plant that grows in coast, mountain and high jungle. Even though this a fruit from Andean region growing among 800 and 3,000 m above sea level, under temperatures among 15 and 18 �C , and precipitations from 600 to 1,000 mm per year, on lands with organic matter and good drainage. It was domesticated in pre-Incas times. The elder clue in Peru is from 1,200 BC and it was found in Coast.
